» Truckworld 2009 Strategic Cooperation Agreement Signed
In an effort to hold Chinas biggest and most influential truck exhibition, VNU Exhibition Asia and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Jinan Sub-Council (CCPIT Jinan) recently signed the Truckworld 2009 Strategic Cooperation Agreement during a ceremony held at Plaza Royale Oriental Shanghai on 7 April 2009.

Scheduled to open from 28 to 30 October 2009 at Jinan International Convention & Exhibition Center, Truckworld 2009 will be sponsored by China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), Jinan Municipal Government and Shandong Association of Automobile Manufacturers (SAMA), and supported by The American Society of Transportation and Logistics (AST&L).
 
The 2009 national truck market faces both opportunities and challenges due to the world economic slowdown, national fuel tax reform, cancellation of road tolls and the four trillion yuan stimulus package.
 
As a leader in commercial vehicle exhibition in China, VNU Exhibition Asia decided to venture into truck business after thorough market research and a feasibility analysis and is now involved in integral operation for the truck exhibition. The event will be built into China's or perhaps even Asia's biggest and most influential truck and refitting vehicle exhibition with its advanced management mode and expertise.
 
The Shandong Province is China's most important truck manufacturing base and excels especially in heavy truck the output of which accounts to one third of that of the entire country. The well-developed road transportation within the province provides a geographical advantage for the truck exhibition to be held in Jinan. For a better development of the exhibition, Jinan Municipal Government and CCPIT Jinan conducted research and investigations of auto exhibitions around China prior to choosing VNU Exhibition Asia as their strategic cooperation partner for the truck exhibition.
